Cost of Living - We Still Out this Autumn

Summer 2025 in London was undoubtedly a wonderful one.

We had a great run of actually hot days with blue skies, warm nights requiring no coats and a wide range of activities that had more of us venturing towards the E- Bikes trend, zipping around the city with an extra rocket in our pockets!
The undeniable encroaching weight of collective grief and sorrow at the continuing genocides and starvation crisis happening to the people of Gaza, Congo and Sudan meant we really did appreciate the opportunities to gather in joy as well as in protest as we sought to live the privileges of life and freedoms so easily removed by the detached people running our world systems.
Cost of living makes a "pop to the shop" feel like a robbery took place and you only got the bread left in your Sainsbury's bag - but all your money is gone. This did not stop the major big players such as Beyonce, Kendrick and SZA and a plethora of live acts from having SOLD OUT shows and they took to the major arenas to wow us with their God Like appearances on 9ft screens and elevated flying machines.
Mansa HArts - our unique and meticulously measured Creative Hub for creators with purpose had fantastic Sold Out events at The Africa Centre that swung the pendulum towards blue skies for the vision of the Mansa Harts "Nights with Meaning" with a perfect blend of Live Art, Poetry, Open Mic and Music and Dance.
Since the first Poetic Temple x The Africa Centre event in December 2024, Mansa Harts have stayed committed to providing nourishment for the people who want to indulge in good fun nights. They call it food for the soul and they're not wrong. As the Gen Z's spit it these days; We are both serving and eating! A contribution to the 60 years young institution that put out a call for more community awareness and support which we answered. They want £6million and Mansa Harts aims to contribute £6000 by March 2026 through these events, merchandise selling and one off fundraising Poetic Temple Nights like the Gold Bars Poetry Slam hosted in May. A great evening of friendly competition, legendary poets judging the exceptional word sound and a Jam PACKED bar filled with passionate poetry people!
As the autumnal effects begin to return and brown leaves take residence with their colour shifting magic.
We are offering up some more wonderful ways of keeping the Wintery blues at bay with our upcoming events!
So make sure you join us as we create more fun memories together.
Not only will we have three more nights at The Africa Centre in 2025, we are also taking to touring London this Black History Month with Poetic Temple at UAL DARKROOM BAR, Hello Love and Ikokos.
