What’s the World Turning To? (© Stella Bee — All Rights Reserved) Bizarre is the new normal when dating programmes start with viewing your potential partner’s private parts in order to choose them for a date! Naked Truth Flop Dating Show on Channel 4 We’ve come a long way from the “innocence” of Blind Date, hosted by the prolific Cilla Black — full of innuendos, cheeky nods and winks, and Liverpudlian quips at the panel of glamorous 90s ladies and suited-and-booted men. Then came Richard Blackwood’s take on the love game — “You gotta go!” chanted at those whose lines were just below par for the choosing gal or guy. Singled Out was that show’s title. Or “No likey, no lighty” — another catchphrase from the deeply misogynistic game show Take Me Out, where women fought over men. I'm sure it was the other way round as well, but my memories are leaning more to the endless line of women vying for the attention of a single guy. There’ve been a few, and love forever remains the biggest audience attractor — as demonstrated by popular shows like Love Island and Married at First Sight. We’re hooked on love. And the part we really want to be in love for... the sex — well, we’re still all in a tizzy about that, even in 2025. At Mansa hArts, we’re prioritising that now. Let’s talk InYou&Oh! Through our latest venture into Erotic Poetry, we’re allowing our community to safely and comfortably be creative with words — and to participate in adult life discussions through the arts. As Mansa hArts is run by a power couple who’ve been in a healthy relationship for 11 years, it’s a natural next step in their artistic journey — working through the proverbial bumps in the complicated road that is love, and using the opportunity to decolonise, deconstruct, and realign the truth about the power of sex. While the subject may come as a surprise or feel risqué to some, in all truth we’re simply thinking about “the S word.” According to a 2014 study, men think about sex on average 19 times a day — debunking the old myth that it was every seven seconds. Women are said to think about sex about 10 times a day. Considering the endless variables, those numbers could easily rise or fall depending on environmental and societal factors. We're hooked on love. The part we want to be in love for... The Sex, well we're still all in a tiz even in 2025 about that. And we at Mansa hArts are prioritising it now. Let's talk InYou&Oh! There’s even an underground world of sex that tends to be more extreme in highly religious societies or places where conservatism reigns. You’ll often find greater use of raunchy and taboo sexual acts or toys — all done on the down low. On the darker side, there’s the non-consensual reality of it — such as the crimes committed by religious institutions that have yet to be fully held accountable for abuses against children and the vulnerable. This is a global issue across religions that have long treated sex as a forbidden fruit, rather than acknowledging the power it holds — a power that ultimately leads to creation and life itself. Everything living and breathing on this planet exists as a direct consequence of sex. The anatomy of sex reveals that, in fact, it’s a frequency — one connected to the higher power. Take, for example, the tiger slug: it locates its partner through a trail of attractive slime. These hermaphroditic creatures (having both male and female parts) find a tree or a surface to cling to, and begin their love-making process — secreting more of that wet, sticky substance, now combined in a spiralling embrace, hanging in a love knot. Tiger Slugs or Leopard Slugs Connect via Penis's in their Heads At the height of their union, they open up the sides of their heads — let’s call it “mind sex,” like the track by the sages of Dead Prez — and their glowing, translucent antennae intertwine. They form what looks like a flower as they exchange sperm. It’s the very picture of natural, orgasmic connection — literally a head-on-head. union in the juiciest of situations. Nature clearly has something to say about freedom, too. Yet often, we remain locked in judgment and shame when it comes to sexual encounters — shaped by religious dogma, media conditioning, or simple lack of awareness. Even in 2025, we still allow sex to be commodified by those who gain power through controlling our most natural instincts. The fact is, sex feels wonderful — and when approached consciously, it can take you to source itself. Through powerful orgasmic experiences, one can learn to measure release and remain in a state of orgasm for longer. Sex magic is also about manifesting what you desire into your world — your orgasm being a gateway to the universe. But let’s leave that conversation for another day... we’re just easing in for now. And as we do, we’re using our art as a healthy and freeing way to start the conversation. We present InYou&Oh!, our Erotic Poetry event for those aged 21 and over — a safe, sacred space dedicated to high-quality poetry and art that awaken the passion so often numbed by the structure of our “urban” lives. Unmasking is key. We mustn’t feel shame about the very act that opened the portal for us to be. In a world increasingly insular and separated by screens and machines, we’re creating environments that are opulent, indulgent — yet wholesome. There are many sex-themed events in London — the rabbit hole runs deep — but we aim to be the ones who, while explicit in our wordplay, also bring balance and sanctuary to these explorations. Our rules are simple: * No invading people’s spaces. * No calling out names without consent. * No cussing people out. * No getting extremely drunk. * No racism or any of the “isms.” * Treat everyone as if they’re your favourite person in the world. - Women at Work
Intuitive is a word often applied within the spirituality algorithm of ‘feminine energy’. Said to be a quality that deals with one tapping into the inner senses to get answers to questions not necessarily easy to ascertain from an objective means. It’s often asserted that "Women are more intuitive and men are more logical". A general assumption widely accepted in our modern day collective consciousness (specifically in Western ideology). I would argue that it is massively misleading as men and women have male and female behavioural characteristics and can embody both these qualities at varying measurements necessary to tap into at an appropriate time. We are said to grab from our left part of our brain when doing more logical thinking, calculations or orderliness and the right hemisphere to create and imagine. Interestingly, males are said to have more blood flow to the left hemisphere on the whole whilst women have activity measured in more areas in both hemispheres. For a tenuously linked example let’s look at a Mansa hArts upcoming co curation project "Young Gifted and Black". A two week photographic exhibition taking place this December 2025 at The Africa Centre . Birth child of prolific logical and innovative phenomenon, Zaira Rasool and me, multi disciplinary artist and co-founder of Mansa hArts Stella B! The intuitive and the logic working adjacent to each other for the formulation of a soon to be epic exhibition as we agreed to come together to throw attention on a bigger picture. Cultural identity, empowerment, representation and platforming. Curation is new to both of us, well newish… I had my solo exhibition at The Africa Centre in 2024 called Hidden Histories, Goldframing Women in the Revolution which I ended up self curating for lack of funding. I learned a lot! Panel Discussion on Why Women are less mentioned than Men in Black History at The Africa Centre as part of Stella B Solo Exhibition. Tapping into a heavy truck load of intuition, trust and researching, pulling from the exhibitions that I’d attended over the years, working with amazing artist friends and going with what felt right whilst problem solving on the job. It was a roaring success. Teaching me that gut feeling is not to be played with, but instead to apply logic and practical reasoning to in order to execute the perfect outcome. SOLD OUT events, sales of prints and a solid reputation for excellent work! This was what motivated the conversation to happen about the Exhibition with Zaira who was present at my opening and closing nights. Zaira Rasool I would describe Zaira Rasool is a Taaffeite, a rare gem whose exuberance is undeniable when it comes to bringing a spark of excitement to a conversation. Her eclectic upbringing sees her geographic journey reach a whole other time zone as part of her upbringing was in Australia. Eventually settling in the UK in her teens. That wide perspective of life as an Indian and Pakistan heritaged individual who even spent time in Kashmir during the war. These personal challenges overcoming identity crisis and societal transgressions made her the caring person she needed to be to tap into her own strengths and pivot from a career in community and Youth Work into qualifying as a coder during the 2020 world reset. She spent a significant amount of time in Gambia and travels there regularly to keep up the pace of her NGO code roots. This is how she met the extraordinarily talented Malick Njei Zaira Rasool in Gambia Upon reviewing the works of Malick from Zaira’s recommendation I intuitively knew that my younger brother Daniel Bell-Gam had to be a part of the exhibit. Their work was so aligned it made perfect sense. They were capturing the flavours, richness, melanin and sweetness within hair texture, water, and snapped action. Telling colourful stories (even when in black and white) of their friends and colleagues in Nigeria and Gambia. Young Gifted and African Exhibits at The Africa Centre December 2025 So we got the dates booked for December with The Africa Centre. That was in March 2025 and now we have reached a point of high pressure. It’s October already and navigating financial costs of our first photographic curation on our internal knowing is not where it’s at anymore. Our intuition got us to this point and now we need more than just the gut feeling, we need… chat gpt. Well at least to we needed it to help apply for the National Lottery Funding we got after its second submission. (This is a prophecy). The world impacting tool is incredibly helpful, a resource we were thankful for despite a lot of "intuitive resistance " when the AI first arrived on the scene. Logic has kicked now and we are using the intelligence…well… intelligently. The pressure is on! I personally have been using the extra fire to push my level of social interactions and networking essential for curative work. Recommendations, advice, services all require people and the right ones have really helped us make this work possible. We still want support so please do connect via the email address if there is some scope for assistance. We’re extremely grateful! Thank you to everyone who has helped Zaira and I to make our vision a reality. By supporting this gofundme campaign, you have made this dream a successful destination we have seen and we are excited for you to view the wonderful works in real life at the Africa Centre this December from the 4th Dec till the 19th December. https://www.gofundme.com/f/young-gifted-and-african-exhibition-at-the-africa-centre Working in partnership with Zaira has been … balanced. There’s a natural understanding and rhythm between women who are equally capable of achieving using both logic and intuition rather seamlessly. Our world views are matched. I also had some developmental years living in Nigeria which widened my perception and perspective of reality. We both took to youth work in our 20s and have been journaling our souls trauma in the form of poetry for the longest time. We’re both performing poets and now we are embarking on co-curating for two artists we want to see shine globally. Intuition tells me; it’s going to be exceptional. The Exhibition of 2025! Stella Bee Performing At Out The Window Primrose Hill 2025 Young Gifted and African will be at The Africa Centre Feeny Gallery December 2025. See you there! - Cost of Living - We Still Out this Autumn
Summer 2025 in London was undoubtedly a wonderful one. We had a great run of actually hot days with blue skies, warm nights requiring no coats and a wide range of activities that had more of us venturing towards the E- Bikes trend, zipping around the city with an extra rocket in our pockets! The undeniable encroaching weight of collective grief and sorrow at the continuing genocides and starvation crisis happening to the people of Gaza, Congo and Sudan meant we really did appreciate the opportunities to gather in joy as well as in protest as we sought to live the privileges of life and freedoms so easily removed by the detached people running our world systems. Cost of living makes a "pop to the shop" feel like a robbery took place and you only got the bread left in your Sainsbury's bag - but all your money is gone. This did not stop the major big players such as Beyonce, Kendrick and SZA and a plethora of live acts from having SOLD OUT shows and they took to the major arenas to wow us with their God Like appearances on 9ft screens and elevated flying machines. Mansa HArts - our unique and meticulously measured Creative Hub for creators with purpose had fantastic Sold Out events at The Africa Centre that swung the pendulum towards blue skies for the vision of the Mansa Harts "Nights with Meaning" with a perfect blend of Live Art, Poetry, Open Mic and Music and Dance. Since the first Poetic Temple x The Africa Centre event in December 2024, Mansa Harts have stayed committed to providing nourishment for the people who want to indulge in good fun nights. They call it food for the soul and they're not wrong. As the Gen Z's spit it these days; We are both serving and eating! A contribution to the 60 years young institution that put out a call for more community awareness and support which we answered. They want £6million and Mansa Harts aims to contribute £6000 by March 2026 through these events, merchandise selling and one off fundraising Poetic Temple Nights like the Gold Bars Poetry Slam hosted in May. A great evening of friendly competition, legendary poets judging the exceptional word sound and a Jam PACKED bar filled with passionate poetry people! As the autumnal effects begin to return and brown leaves take residence with their colour shifting magic. We are offering up some more wonderful ways of keeping the Wintery blues at bay with our upcoming events! So make sure you join us as we create more fun memories together. Not only will we have three more nights at The Africa Centre in 2025, we are also taking to touring London this Black History Month with Poetic Temple at UAL DARKROOM BAR, Hello Love and Ikokos. - Heaven Couldn’t Wait for You
Artwork by Stella Bee featuring a stylized and evocative portrayal inspired by the cover of Assata Shakur’s autobiography, symbolizing her journey from adversity in America to solace in Cuba. Assata Shakur is welcome here. A place free from fair judges who never play fair. Where corrupt politicians languish lifetimes in jail, 3 anum for every single life they've failed. Assata Shakur is welcome here Safe Where, stick beatings crack corrupted spines back into line. Imperial bodies conceive real pain when their corporations pockets bleed. Tax money from conglomerates to take care of those in need. Assata Shakur is welcome here. Safe Where fresh flowers send scents of nature's beauty. Access to flowers power is at no cost to sovereignty. Healing humanity is the number one priority. People over profit the leading mentality. Assata Shakur welcome here Safe Where diaspora dance rhythms brought from Mother's land. As generations pass through as times sands. Women are seen every where with man. They cry seas of eye water. Tap into ancestral prayer. Ask tidal waves to put evil to bed. Locks and bolts upon the bringers of dread. Assata Shakur welcome here. Safe Where we are loud to be seen and bright to be heard. - ONLY FANS - One Way to Do It!
Only fans was launched in 2016 by Founder Tim Stokely, originally a version of Patreon, it was all about supporting musicians and artists so that they could get direct payment straight from thier fans and grow thier own communities cutting out the middle people and raising the profit for the works they produced. The initial porn element - which is now the immediate association with the platform, was originally banned… this changed in 2017 and after the streaming Service OFTV platform was launched all private parts broke loose and people were able to access explicit content at their will. But the average person was only made aware of this service after the Covid Pandemic which saw it have a huge surge of sign ups both by users and subscribers. A direct correlation to the financial downward spiral that was a undeviating result of continuous mal practice from major banks and the pandemic itself. Add to that major wars, freeze on wages, raise in taxes and food prices and you have the perfect stew for the average Joe or Joanna considering the option of using only fans to build wealth. The endorsement from Megan The Stallion, Cardi B and even Beyonce Carter made the usually prude actually venture on to the Internet space. They sold the new dream. Myths of feet pictures and farts in glass jars earning people life changing money circled the unsocial media and… Hell even I tried to make a page - For my ART (exploring Sex and Intimacy through Poetry and Visual Art) I mean… why not? Beyonce was a God Fearing Wife no? It's not the platform that's bad. Like, every gun can't be evil… it's the shooter… right? Well actually, it's really another example of manipulation of the masses. Imagine a platform able to generate billions from the power of Sex and in a time where people are genuinely struggling to keep their lights on? Who is actually subscribing. Some of the stats for earnings for the influencers and porn stars are triggering to say the least. But are they all a part of the dream selling? The platform is currently run by Lawyer Keily Blair after Tim stepped down in 2021. A lawyer running the platform speaks volumes to it's moral scales. Money (as with all corporate entities) is the soul focus. It's not about the Artists making money from thier fans, but about drawing in as many people as possible into subscribing and as prolific psychologist Fraud cemented in our collective consciousness of consumerism “Sex Sells”. Only fans… I think I would rather build on something clean like Substack. Even my work on Sex and Intimacy wouldn't suit ONLY FANS who despite OFTV effort to diversify their content is permanently linked to the cold and harsh desperate world of Porn. Let's talk about porn addiction soon… WITH OUT JUDGMENT. Let me know what your thoughts are about ONLY FANS? Would you use it as an artist? Is it a good platform that links you to your fans? Or would it feel like a version of selling yourself? I am open to talking 💓 Subscribe to my Substack for more musings like the Above Peace written by Stella Bee
- Destiny Calling
Nat Nye and Stella B host their Fundraiser at The Africa Centre Have you ever had the feeling that you are right where you are supposed to be at the exact time you needed to be there? Or that someone or a group of people you meet, are there because the divine ordained it so? Well that’s precisely the nature of the creators of Mansa Harts connection and the subsequent projects they have produced together. After reconnecting at a Mike Brown and Mark Duggan Rally outside the American Embassy in protest against police brutality 2014, the two made choices to open up their hearts, minds and souls to the constellation map they found themselves travelling. Twin flames are often said to be in a soul contract. A theory of the souls agreeing to do specific work in the earthly realm that will elevate them and the planet. These two had originally met at drama School, but the timing wasn’t quite right for Afromance then. Fast forward to a time of increasing racial tension and global visceral authorative attacks on black people in America and the UK, Stella made a choice to attend the protest (the first she’d ever been to) and as fate would have it Nat was performing there on the same day. Ever since then, every single person they have met, worked and created strong memories with have been a huge part of building their brand as a dynamic Power Couple. Each others Whole, coming together as twin flames to fulfil a bigger role in the world. Nat Nye the Lyrical Alkhemist and Stella Bee are what some would call Twin Flames. Mirrors reflecting aspects of one another (both good and bad) that need to be elevated as they journey through their souls mission together. After 11 years together, they are entering a new chapter of their purposeful relationship. Not without challenges, they are steadfast in signing a physical contract to solidify their partnership in a ritual recognised by their ancestors as a commitment to their family names and the tree of life they are a part of. Many inexplicably beautiful things have occurred proving their union is exceptionally aligned. These two individuals passionate about panafricanism and the arts (poignantly poetry), have gone through many tests and thrived as a result of their determination to exemplify black love often derogated in mainstream media. Their astrological charts place them both in the limelight and as a pair they have not failed to unify their communities as representations of what true respect and love should look like. Openness, transparency, honesty, integrity and effort are some of the words they attach to their forever friendship. Adeche Atelier Power Couple at Poetic Temple 2025 In January 2025, Nat Nye and Stella B were invited to be a part of a celebration of couples for the February love month . As a point of intrigue New Comma were interviewing couples that work together for the apps promotional material. In perfect synchronicity, the incredible painting duo Adeche Atelier were also invited to talk on their own companionship and the work they have been doing to retell our an African mythologies and folklores with the reverence they deserve through incredible paintings and informative vlogs and podcasts. As a result the two were welcomed by Stella and Nat to The Africa Centre as the live artists for the day as a part of their promo material empowerment themed nights called African Gods and Goddesses . Coincidence? Fate? Whatever one wants to call it, the observation of perfection is undeniable in these film like moments. So much joy has manifested through these events constructed by the power couple, and so much more magic is set to set to come. Click here to attend the next poetic temple event! Eventbrite
